Travel High: Best Destinations for a Cannabis Tour

There are legitimate arguments for cannabis to become a legalized drug. At best, there are still places in the world where it is considered illegal. Fortunately for you—if you’re into the 420 culture—you get to enjoy it in places where it’s been legalized.

A Legal Holiday

Looking to get high while enjoying time away from work? Here’s where to do it:

• Jamaica. Surprisingly, the place where weed is thought to be as common as bananas only had cannabis legalized in February 2015. Still, better late than never. You can now enjoy biking with a reefer on your lips here.

• Christiania, Denmark. It’s like the equivalent of Amsterdam in terms of weed. When it was created in 1971, it was established as an art town that has its own flag and currency. Cannabis shops are like convenience stores here, making it a good 420 destination.

• Canary Islands. The community of cannabis fanatics here has grown since the 60s. Span has relaxed laws on cannabis recently, making things easier. Imagine smoking and getting high while mountain climbing or swimming here.

• Amsterdam. It was previously mentioned as a red-light district, but as much as there is flesh here, so is weed; since 1976, it was legal to smoke weeds in the streets of Amsterdam. All while enjoying the sights and, er, sounds the place has to offer.

• Uruguay. Are you looking for full legalization? Then you’re going to love this country. It’s not really permitted for non-citizens to procure cannabis here, but if you were given weed, why not use it? Montevideo is a great spot to smoke and enjoy the view.

• Canada.West Hastings? West Coast? These places should be on your list during 420. It’s the site of the New Amsterdam Café as well as the B.C. Marijuana Party and Vapor Lounge—pretty popular places for pot.

Take it with Moderation

As with all good things in life, smoking marijuana can be healthy when done in moderation. Too much of anything will still kill, even if it’s a ‘divine herb made for divine purposes’, so to speak.

Never Leave Home Without: Travel Benefits of an Air Mattress

Going traveling? Unless you travel around in a recreational vehicle, you’re going to have to provide the basic amenities of home in travel-adjusted versions. This also includes your bed, kitchen, and toiletries.

The most important thing would be to have somewhere to sleep. If you’ve already packed a tent, you should definitely pack a bed, and here’s why:

  • For a Sudden Trip. A sudden vacation caught you unawares? Travel with an air mattress. You get to enjoy the comforts of a home bed if you manage to pack one for the night, wherever you might be headed.
  • For the Surprise Guest. If you or a friend found yourselves without a bed, this is the perfect emergency mattress to have. Spread it out for the night, and the problem of extra space is solved. You or your friend will have somewhere to sleep for the night.
  • For Stress Release. Camping is supposed to help you ease your stress. If you find yourself without a place to lie down, though, an air mattress solves that problem for you. You won’t have to look for another place to lie down with a better alternative in place.
  • For Sudden Emergencies. If you find yourself feeling dizzy or lightheaded during a trip, look for a comfortable place to lie down. An air mattress will provide that place for you. During emergencies, a soft, mattress-like surface like this bed is a good thing to have.
  • For Easy Carrying Around. An air mattress is great simply because it’s portable. Even if you’re not camping, you can use the air mattress as an extra bed in your house, showing its adaptability in different situations.

Problems aren’t problems if you already have a solution to them. Learn to work on creating solutions to problems even before they happen. In this case, learn to rely on an air mattress to solve the problem of sleep during camping trips.
